Dodge Ram – 1996 PPG Pace Truck
This one-of-a-kind Dodge Ram is now privately owned by an enthusiast.
History
Unknown, but by the watermark in one of the photos I found, appears to have been listed on ebay at some point.
Specifications
The Ram was lowered with a Belltech lowering kit. It’s 360 cu. in. V8 was said to have made 450 HP. Brembo brakes were installed at all 4 corners. Safety modifications included a full roll cage, 4 point harnesses, fire suppression system and Whelen strobes.
Current Status
I’m glad to see another PPG Pace Car made its way into the hands of an enthusiast who will appreciate its value, as the truck appears to belong to a New York member of www.ramforum.com, The Ram appears unchanged, with the exception of 19″ Drift R wheels and 275/40/ZR19 tires.
