Ford Thunderbird – 1984 PPG Pace Car
This Thunderbird was modified by Jack Roush himself.
History
Restored to its original condition, the exact history of this Pace Car is unknown. (Note it wears Pace Car logos different from any other PPG Pace Car.)
Specifications
In the engine bay sits a 302 ‘high roller,’ as they called it–a Ford block but with everything else built by hand.
Current Status
The 1984 Thunderbird is owned by Dan Boyd, CART’s official photographer at the time.
